Amarula Cream Liqueur 1L.
Amarula is the delicious, classic, and original South African cream liqueur , infused with the exotic flavor of the smooth, velvety marula fruit. Amarula is best enjoyed over ice. Marula trees bear their exotic fruit only in summer. About the size of small plums but oval-shaped, the marula fruit ripens to a deep yellow color, with a tough outer skin surrounding its white, stringy pulp. With four times more vitamin C than an orange, the marula is a succulent fruit with a citrusy, creamy, nutty flavor. When the aroma of ripe marula fills the air, elephants travel great distances to taste it. This is the signal to begin the harvest. Awards and accolades:

Description
PREPARATION
Amarula is made from the delicious Marula fruit of sub-equatorial Africa, distilled and aged in French oak for two years, then blended with a velvety cream to create the smooth flavor of Amarula. Local communities are an integral part of the process, carefully picking the fruit by hand once the elephants raise their trunks in approval. Like elephants, Marula trees are protected under South African law. They are a key part of African heritage and cannot be grown for trade. However, the fruit is sold in a variety of natural products, Amarula being, of course, one of them. Amarula and elephants are intimately connected through our African roots and the Marula fruit. That is why the Amarula Trust was created in 2008 with the aim of safeguarding African elephants.

Nose: Intense and exotic aromas of marula, followed by notes of coffee and chocolate.
