Description
PREPARATION
Grape: Pansa Blanca Can Matons Santa Maria de Martorelles is pressed from whole grapes. Very slow fermentation at controlled temperature in oak barrels of different formats; adapting the production of each plot. The Santa Maria vineyards are characterized by a sandy to very fine textured soil called auló, resulting from the weathering of granite. It is a soil poor in nutrients, with little water retention and a moderate pH. The vineyards are located on the slopes of the Marina Mountain Range, with gentle orography. The vines are more than 60 years old. The vineyards are worked according to ecological criteria, with practices that seek to preserve the acquired legacy.
TASTING
View:
Yellow color with greenish reflections.
Nose:
Frank aroma, with subtle ripe notes of white fruit, flowers and nuts with a toasted background. In the mouth a saline point stands out, reflecting the sauló soil.
Mouth:
It is a delicate wine, but with great aging potential.
