PREPARATION
DYC 8 Years represents the quality of a blended whiskey aged for 8 years. Since its birth in 1974 and to date, it has been handcrafted under the best conditions. The quality of the raw materials and its aging in American oak barrels give it a smooth and round flavor that makes it a 100% Spanish product specially created for lovers of good whiskey. The location of the DYC distillery in Segovia allows it to meet the necessary requirements to obtain a high-quality whiskey: Its privileged location at 1000 meters of altitude gives the whiskey a special quality and flavor that makes it unique. The pure waters of the Eresma River, which come from melting ice, are ideal for extracting the aroma of the grain, transferring that characteristic fragrance to the whiskey. The quality of the raw materials, such as 100% source malt during the process, forms the essence of this whiskey's character.
TASTING
View: Golden amber color.
Nose: Floral touches, spices, smokiness, fresh grass, touch of honey and heather.
Mouth: Soft and creamy on the palate, peat with hints of vanilla, marzipan, apple and citrus. Bittersweet finish, long in the mouth and soft finish.
