El Nido is a red wine with D.O. Jumilla and made by Bodegas El Nido, belonging to the Juan Gil Group. The El Nido winery is located in the Aragona Valley, 10 km north of the Spanish city of Jumilla, in the “upper terminus”, the highest altitude region within the city's municipal limits. It all started when the Gil family and Chris Reginald, one of the best Australian vintners, met. From this association, Bodegas El Nido was born in 2001. The first vintage that was sold was the following year and was under the Clio and El Nido brands. Perfect to accompany with rice, meats and roasts. Awards and scores:

Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Monastrell.
Grapes from very old Monastrell and Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards. The harvest is manual and is carried out in small boxes. Selection table in the winery. Maceration- fermentation in stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels. Malolactic fermentation in oak barrels and aging for 22 to 26 months in French and American oak barrels.
TASTING
View: It has a cherry color covered with shades ranging from blue to purple.
Nose:
Aromas of black fruits such as blueberries and black currant. Also smoked and roasted chocolate. Mineral and tobacco memories.
Mouth:
Powerful in the mouth and very concentrated. It is tasty and complex, with a wide range of surprising flavors. Complex, mature. Easy and sweet palate with an endless finish.
Recommended temperature: 15º C.
