Fundador has been made since 1874, being the first Spanish brandy made in the oldest winery in Jerez, Bodegas Fundador (1730). From its tradition, experience and innovation comes the brandy that Hemingway describes as smooth and amontillado. Some qualities that have been maintained thanks to following the same aging process that was already used in the 18th century, the Criaderas and Solera system. Aged in Sherry Casks that have previously contained sherry wine, Fundador is a Solera Brandy with Specific Designation Brandy de Jerez with a unique style that leaves no one indifferent. Description
PREPARATION
Fundador Solera is made with 100% grapes from Pago de Macharnudo and is the authentic precursor of Brandy de Jerez in Spain. From wines highly selected for distillation in columns (continuous distillation devices), spirits of the highest quality have resulted. These are carefully aged in 500-liter oak barrels previously vinified with the most select Sherry wines through the traditional dynamic system of Soleras and Criaderas. The sublime combination of spirits and distillates and the contribution of vinousness that the Sherry Casks confer during their aging, make Fundador Solera Sherry Cask a brandy unique in style, harmony and elegance.
