Fundador has been made since 1874, being the first Spanish brandy made in the oldest winery in Jerez, Bodegas Fundador (1730). The Sherry Casks collection by Fundador Supremo is a before and after within the Brandy de Jerez category. Aged in barrels that had previously contained 15-year-old Amontillado, Fundador Supremo 15-year-old Sherry Casks brandy is another of the brand's premium creations. Description
PREPARATION
Brandy de Jerez Solera Gran Reserva obtained from wines carefully selected for distillation. Aged in Sherry Casks that have contained Amontillado for 15 years. Sherry Casks are unique casks that provide excellent aging to the Brandy, time capsules that transmit the essences of the Sherry wines they have contained, giving the Brandy a characteristic softness, roundness and sweetness. Brandy, over time, acquires the best of each wine due to the porosity of the wood and its aging in Criaderas and Solera, achieving products of the highest quality.
TASTING
View: Golden amber, very bright and luminous
Nose:
Nuts, almonds and hazelnuts. It is intense and with attenuated strength, with nuances of Amontillados.
Mouth:
With warm sensations, full, very balanced and gently dry. The nuances of dried fruits intermingle with notes of winey wood.
