Description
PREPARATION
The Glen Grant 10 Years is made from barley, yeast and water. The mineral-rich water is obtained from two natural springs near the distillery and the barley used is of Scottish origin, from the Spey Valley, one of the most fertile regions in the world. Their distillation process is carried out in their tall, thin stills and using purifiers, to ensure that only the finest vapors are condensed into the spirit. Quality ex-bourbon casks and ex-Sherry casks are meticulously chosen for its aging process, ensuring that they are only used a limited number of times. All casks are individually hand-selected by master distiller Dennis Malcolm.
TASTING
View:
Golden barley color.
Nose:
Medium/dry aroma of orchard fruits.
Mouth:
Soft notes of orchard fruits and caramel with notes of malt. The ending is satisfyingly long and complex.
