Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 50% Viura and 50% white Tempranillo.
Upon arrival at the winery, the clusters are destemmed and gently pressed. Then each variety is fermented separately in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently, 5,000 liters are selected and aged for 10 months in new 225 and 500 liter French oak barrels. Periodically they carry out the practice of battonage, to put the lees in suspension and thus provide roundness in the boсa. Once the breeding is completed, the assembly of both varieties takes place, seeking optimal expressiveness of the exceptional characteristics of each of them. The result is a unique and extraordinary wine, complex and elegant, with a lot to show. 10 months in 18 225-liter barrels and another 2 500-liter barrels. 100% French Oak with different toasts.
TASTING
View:
Straw yellow, clean and bright.
Nose:
Great expressiveness of aromas, fine and elegant. Perfect fusion of fruity aromas such as pineapple or mango provided by the Tempranillo Blanco, with floral and citrus touches, coming from the Viura. Combined with nuts, vanilla and toast, provided by its stay in French oak barrels.
Mouth:
Silky and fresh, with good volume. Memories of ripe and tropical fruit. Persistent aftertaste that invites you to continue drinking. Recommended temperature: Serve between 10 and 13ºC
