PREPARATION
To make The Macallan Triple Cask 12 Years Whiskey traditional distillation is carried out. This is done in small copper wires. Afterwards, it is aged for a minimum of 12 years in two barrels: American oak and European oak.
TASTING
View: At sight it has a dark copper color.
Nose: The nose is soft, with light notes of oak and honey. It also has a touch of orange. Finally, sweet notes of vanilla and nuts.
Mouth: In the mouth it has a creamy touch with a first taste of vanilla, with fresh notes of orange. Afterwards we appreciate touches of oak and honey. Also notes of dried fruits. Finally, it has a slight spicy touch. It has a medium and soft finish. The vanilla notes of American oak wood stand out.
