Tullamore D.E.W. is the original triple-blend Irish whiskey, known around the world for its smooth and subtle complexity. Ideal to drink alone or with ice. Each Irish whiskey offers something unique and interesting, but no other offers the unique blend of three whiskeys, each triple distilled and rested to mature in three different types of barrels. The cereal provides a sweet note; malt, a fruity touch and the “pot still” alembic infuses flavor into the distillate. This is a triple distilled whiskey slowly aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks.

Description
PREPARATION
Tullamore D.E.W. is the original triple blend of Irish whiskey, offering three dimensions of flavor to explore fruit notes, spices and a touch of sweetness. It is first distilled in 3 types of copper stills at the Tullamore distillery for purity and smoothness. It then matures in 3 types of barrels: 1) Traditional filler barrels used to mature local whiskeys once or twice before. These barrels infuse less strong oak flavors, creating a depth and balance of flavors. 2) American oak barrels that have previously contained some of the best American Bourbon. These barrels infuse a golden color, and a sweet vanilla and caramel flavor. 3) Casks imported from Jerez in Spain, which have previously stored Jerez Oloroso. Its wood infuses a rich mahogany color that gives it the character of dried fruit along with notes of raisins, wood spices and chocolate.
Finally, the 3 whiskeys are blended before being bottled. A blend that offers all the richness, complexity and combinations of flavors that a "single" style cannot aspire to.

Mouth:
Its entry is tasty and full-bodied, leaving exquisite nuances of fresh fruit. On the palate, delicious essences of toasted wood emerge accompanied by spicy notes where the sweetness of vanilla stands out. Long finish accompanied by caramel and vegetal notes.
