Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: Palomino Fino.
Manzanilla La Guita is made from Palomino Fino grapes and is aged using the traditional Criaderas and Solera system. La Guita was founded in 1852 by Mr. Domingo Pérez Marín, in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. In 1908 the brand was registered and the string was added to the bottle, which has hardly been modified to this day. La Guita is a 100% Sanluqueña chamomile. All of its grapes belong to coastal Sanluqueño estates, mainly from the Miraflores La Baja estate and are acquired by José Estévez from more than 175 winegrowers from the Sanluqueña COVISAN Wine Cooperative. In addition, it has two wineries that are located in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, one of them in Sanlúcar Pago Viejo, where bottling is also located, and another in the Barrio Alto of Sanluqueño on the popular Misericordia street. The latter is an emblematic winery with a history that dates back to the 16th century.
