PREPARATION
The Canadian Club 1858 whiskey has been made following the same recipe and process for more than 162 years and ages more than the 3 years required by law in white oak barrels before being bottled to obtain the smoothest flavor possible. Its production process begins with the best rye grains, rye malt, barley malt and corn. For its aging, barrels used to contain American white oak bourbon are used, since during the first use of the barrel, the bourbon absorbs the pronounced oak flavor of the new barrel. This gives Canadian Club its distinctive, rich flavor.
TASTING
View: Bright gold color.
Nose: Fresh and smooth, with an almond nuttiness, a touch of spicy spices. Aromas of dry, light and sweet wood.
Mouth: Clean, dry and light with very subtle oak. Spicy, complemented by hints of rich oak and sweet vanilla, pleasant sweetness. Notes of rye, barley and corn.
