Woodford Reserve Straight Bourbon Whiskey And it denotes an extreme purity that is obtained through a triple distillation process, after which many layers of complexity in the flavor profile are cultivated by maturation for at least six years in oak barrels, producing a fine bourbon that is highly aromatic and smooth in nature.TASTING
View: Clean and bright honey amber color.
Nose: Heavy with rich nuts, hints of mint and oranges topped with a layer of cocoa. Faint vanilla and tobacco spice.
Mouth: Rich, chewy, rounded and smooth, with complex citrus, cinnamon and cocoa. Notes of toffee, caramel, chocolate and spices abound. Silky smooth finish, almost creamy at first with a long, warm tail that satisfies.
