PREPARATION
Grapes: Tempranillo.
Baron De Chirel 2017 is a limited production wine that comes from a blend of Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes selected from the oldest vineyards that Riscal owns in Rioja Alavesa, between 80 and 110 years old, cultivated at very low yields. Aging for 26 months in Allier oak barrels and a minimum of 2 more years in the bottle.
TASTING
View: Dark cherry red color.
Nose: On the nose it has a high intensity. The toasted and spicy aromas provided by the Allier oak stand out, with notes of candied black fruits.
Mouth: In the mouth it is fresh and creamy, with soft and elegant tannins. Long and balanced finish.
Recommended temperature: serve between 16-18ºC.
