Cartago 2018 comes from Paraje del Pozo, a five-hectare estate of 45-year-old Tinta de Toro vines. It is a mature, elegant and complex wine. Ideal to accompany red meats and game. Prizes and scores:

Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 100% Tinta de Toro.
To make Cartago 2018, the harvest took place on September 18 with a first manual selection in the vineyard. After complete destemming, fermentation and maceration, with native yeasts, they were extended for 15 days with temperatures of up to 28ºC. It is aged for 30 months in new and used French oak barrels. 3,745 bottles were bottled in July 2021.
TASTING
View:
Garnet color with purple nuances.
Nose:
Concentrated and deep. The aromas of ripe black fruit are shown with intensity on a spicy and slightly mineral background.
Mouth:
Powerful and robust, with firm tannins.
