Bodegas Novos is a young project that was born in 2019, but that lays its foundations in century-old bobal vineyards located in the village of La Portera, in the municipality of Requena. A project that has a very clear objective: to maintain the vines between 80 and 120 years old that their predecessors left them and with them to produce quality wines that demonstrate the great potential of the queen variety of the area, Bobal. In short, a new project with a long tradition behind it, that of the Ramos family.

PREPARATION
Grapes: 100% Bobal
Labor de Sol has a shorter barrel aging time, the first year only about four months, so it is a wine in which the fruit is perfectly appreciated and all the characteristics that bobal offers are revealed, a totally “naked” wine.
TASTING
View:
Intense garnet color with ruby tones.
Nose:
Aromas of blackberry, plum, cassis predominate; and a certain evocation of field herbs, very characteristic of the Bobal grape. There are also well-integrated oak wood tones.
Mouth:
In the mouth it is balanced, fresh, with sweet and polished tannins. As a whole, elegant and with a finish full of aromatic sensations.
Recommended temperature: 16-18ºC.
