The Cune Blanco Reserva 2018 wine was born from the desire of the current managers of CVNE to rescue the productions that were produced in their Haro winery in the 50s and 60s: dry white wines, aged in barrels, and without fortification, without concessions, designed for long aging, with excellent quality. A wine to enjoy without reservation, perfect to accompany white meats, legumes, semi-cured cheeses and baked fish. Awards and recognitions:

Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 100% Viura.
The grape used in the production of Cune Blanco Reserva 2018 comes from a selection of 9 hectares of white grapes in Torremontalvo planted in 1973. The vineyard is protected from frost by the small mountain that gives it its name, Barbarroja, and was selected due to its quality for the production of this wine. The grapes were harvested manually at the beginning of October, somewhat later than usual given the characteristics of the vintage, through manual harvesting and rapid transport to the winery. It was gently pressed in the presence of the stems and the must was spontaneously racked in 24-48 hours before fermentation began, part in concrete and approximately half combining a foudre and new French oak barrels and wine barrels. After fermentation, the lees were worked by making daily batonnages at first that were spaced out over time depending on the tastings, with the aim of giving volume to the wine without losing its nerve and liveliness. It is aged for 18 months in barrels and 6 months in bottle and was filtered before bottling.
TASTING
View: Pale yellow color.
Nose: Attractive on the nose, with ripe white fruit accompanied by well-integrated spicy notes.
Mouth: In the mouth it is soft, fresh and velvety. A wine with silky tannins and outstanding notes of sweet spices from barrel aging. Long and complex finish.
Recommended temperature: 8º C.
