The Cava Codorníu Prima Vides Brut is the faithful reflection of the traditional cavas of the Codorníu house. A cava in which the aromas and flavors of the traditional varieties of cava emerge with all their strength under a background of pastries due to its aging. Codorníu Prima Vides Brut is ideal as an aperitif, accompanying dried fruits, savory cakes or various canapés. For meals, it pairs perfectly with paellas or rice dishes with fish, seafood, legume salads and white meats.

Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada.
The harvest is planned so that each variety is picked at the optimal time. After destemming and pressing the grapes, the musts are obtained that ferment at a temperature of 17-18ºC. After fermentation and stabilization, the blend is prepared and the bottles rest in the underground cellars at a constant temperature so that the second fermentation takes place successfully, followed by a period of aging in contact with the yeast lees. In total, the wine spends a minimum of 9 months in the winery, after which the stirring and disgorging takes place. Subsequently, a quantity of expedition liquor is dosed that will determine the residual sugar content of the cava. Finally, the bottle is permanently covered with a cork stopper.
TASTING
View: Brilliant straw yellow color. Fine and elegant bubble that highlights the persistence of its crown.
Nose: The varietal aromas predominate (apple, citrus, almond blossom) intertwined with the nuances of aging (toast, bread, pastries).
Mouth: In the mouth it is pleasant, fresh and balanced.
