Dom Pérignon Vintage 2008 75cl. - Case

Dom Pérignon Vintage 2008 is made exclusively from the best grapes of that year, a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, which has been valued as one of the best in the world, "the fullness of harmony" can be savored in each glass. After a minimum of eight years of aging in the winery, the wine reaches the perfect balance that Dom Pérignon represents, its greatest promise. This is Dom Pérignon Vintage: the fullness of harmony. The wine displays duality: warmth and freshness, pairings with meat and iodized, cooked and raw. The spices stand out and accentuate the effervescence of 2008 and densify the wine. Dom Pérignon appreciates sensory experiences: culinary art, textures and materials. Awards and recognitions:

Description

PREPARATION

Grapes: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

A gray and cloudy sky dominates the 2008 wine year, a singular event in a solar and insolently generous decade. Finally, at the very moment of beginning the harvest, the perfect conditions were presented: a radiant sun and sustained winds from the north to the northeast. Maturity is revealed beyond expectations, in an unprecedented and elevated balance. The state of health is impeccable. Dom Pérignon adds depth, density and complexity to the bracing acidity, concision and aromatic purity expected from the 2008 vintage. The light is warmer and less harsh. Dom Pérignon declared Champagne Dom Pérignon Vintage 2008 as a miracle Champagne.

TASTING

View: Light golden yellow color with fine, abundant bubbles.

Nose: The explosion of the bouquet is complex and bright, a mix of white flowers, citrus and stone fruits. All of this stimulated by the freshness of anise and mint. As we breathe, we finally perceive the spicy, woody and roasted touches.

Mouth: The wine, until now introverted, finally reveals itself. The coherence between nose and mouth is total. Its sharp, elongated, refined, tonic and athletic profile imposes itself with warmth. The fruit makes its statement loudly and clearly. The acidity that characterizes this vintage is surprisingly integrated. The persistence is essentially aromatic, gray, smoky, compelling.

Recommended temperature: 8-10ºC.
