Haussmann Baron Eugène 75cl.
Georges Eugène Haussmann was first prefect of the Gironde in 1851 and then prefect of the Seine in 1853. He then developed a plan for the renewal of Paris, the transformations of which he directed. A lover of the straight line, Haussmann built boulevards and avenues from the Place du Trône to the Place de l'Étoile, and from the Gare de l'Est to the Observatoire. In 2009, Nathalie Larraqué-Haussmann, accompanied by her husband, decided to pay tribute to the work of her famous great-uncle by creating a range of Bordeaux wines with the image of Boulevard Haussmann, his main work in Paris. What was initially an anniversary vintage launched on the occasion of the bicentenary of the Baron's birth has transformed into a true success: a sustainable company with multiple international brands. Ideal to accompany red or white meats, dishes based on tomato sauce and mature cheeses.
