Description
PREPARATION
Hibiki Japanese Harmony is made from a harmonious blend of countless malt and grain whiskeys that are meticulously combined to create a full scale of flavors and aromas. The master blender tastes over 300 whiskey samples daily and has the final say on the subtle, refined and complex flavors of Suntory whiskey. Hibiki ("harmony" in Japanese) was launched in 1989 to commemorate Suntory's 90th anniversary and has since become the greatest exponent of the art of Japanese whiskey, a true product of nature and the Japanese people. In 1987, master blender Keizo Saji decided to develop a blended whiskey to reflect the sophistication of Suntory's techniques. Koichi Inatomi, chief blender, tasted single malts aged from a million casks at Suntory. Saji and Inatomi found the flavor by blending thirty distinctive soft malt and grain whiskeys.
