Legaris Reserve 2017 75cl.
Legaris Reserva is a single-varietal Tinto Fino from vineyards that are more than 40 years old and located at altitudes greater than 850 meters. It is only bottled in vintages with complete phenolic maturity of the grape, a maturity that allows obtaining wines with great potential for aging in the bottle, and bottling Legaris Reserva in unfavorable vintages in the Ribera del Duero is ruled out. Perfect pairing with Castilian lamb, roasted or grilled red meats, game stews and aged cheeses. Prizes and scores:

Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 100% Tinto Fino. The grapes were harvested manually in 15 kilo boxes. Upon arrival at the winery, they were stored in a cold room overnight at 6ºC. Pre-fermentation maceration for several days at low temperature before alcoholic fermentation, which was carried out with its native yeasts at 28-30ºC, to express the characteristics of the different towns, respecting the uniqueness of each vintage. Legaris Reserva has been produced in small 5,200 liter tanks, in which the selected plots of this quality from the different towns have been processed separately. The wine from each tank was deposited directly into French oak barrels, where malolactic fermentation took place. It subsequently remained for 14 months in fine-grain French oak Bordeaux barrels, half new and half from a wine, until the final blend.
