Description
PREPARATION
The liqueur Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto is made only with bergamot from a UNESCO-protected area in Calabria, a thin strip of coast that runs from the Tyrrhenian coast to the shores of the Ionian Sea. The bergamoto is considered the best of the citrus family, it is similar in size to an orange, but with a green-yellow peel rich in essential oils. Before the appearance of vermouth and Amaro in Italy, Rosolio was the main drink enjoyed by the King of Savoy and was often served as an aperitif at Court. When creating this liqueur, Giuseppe Gallo wanted to recall his childhood memories, the incredible flavors he first experienced on the Amalfi Coast and combine it with his passion for Italian art, poetry and history in a product that would showcase the best of Italy in liquid form.
