Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
The Juan Gil Label Blue wine is made mainly with grapes from vineyards planted at 700 meters above sea level, resulting in a very concentrated, complex and at the same time very elegant wine after passing through a careful selection of French and American oak barrels for 18 months. Maceration and fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Bodegas Juan Gil dates back to 1916, the year in which Juan Gil Gimenez, great-grandfather of the current generation, entered the world of wine by building a small winery that was then located in the center of the city of Jumilla. His son, Juan Gil Guerrero, dedicated his entire life to this sector, but it was the third generation who consolidated the Juan Gil Winery, forging an image of quality, seriousness and efficiency.
