Matarromera Gran Reserva 2016 75cl.
Matarromera Gran Reserva represents the power of capturing time, a Ribera del Duero with a unique personality from birth, which they maintain and forge over the years. This red wine does not go on the market until 6 or 7 years after its harvest. For this reason alone, the experience is already different. But, despite the passage of time, it is a wine that has been modernized, thanks to the elegance provided by its aging in predominantly French barrels of the highest quality and the roundness that the bottle gives it. Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 100% Tempranillo.
The production of Matarromera Gran Reserva red wine begins in the vineyards of the Finca de Las Celadillas and San Román, once the grapes have been harvested manually, a triple selection is carried out: First in each plot, then in each cluster and, finally, grain by grain. The grapes are transferred to the winery where the wine is traditionally made. Its fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts from its own plots for 10-14 days, and then it is aged in French and American oak barrels for 24 months and then rests for 36 months in the bottle.
