Teeling Dark Porter Small Batch 70cl. - Case
Teeling Dark Porter Small Batch is a spectacular release from Teeling, joining their Small Batch Collaborations series. It is produced in collaboration with Dot Brew Brewery in Dublin. First, Dot ages the Dark Porter beer in barrels that were used to age the Teeling Small Batch whiskey and then the barrels are emptied again and returned to Teeling to be refilled with Small Batch. It develops a baggy and hoppy character, with notes of caramel, dark chocolate and coffee. Presentation: Bottle with case.

PREPARATION
Teeling Dark Porter belongs to Teeling's Small Batch Collaborations series. Teeling distillery and Dot Brew brewery come together to create this whiskey. To make it, first a selection of old casks that were previously used to age Teeling Small Batch whiskey is made and filled with a glorious dark beer. Finally, the barrels were emptied again and returned to Teeling to be refilled with Small Batch so that the whiskey could finish amongst the rich, dark, chocolate malt notes of the porter. Located in the heart of historic Liberties, a city steeped in whiskey history, Teeling Whiskey Distillery opened its doors in 2015 as the first new distillery in Dublin in over 125 years. Since opening, Teeling Distillery has won over 20 awards including 'Best Visit in Ireland' at the 2019 CIE Awards and 'Sustainable Distillery of the Year' at the 2022 Whiskey Icons Awards.

Nose:
Aroma of dark chocolate, cocoa, muscovado sugar and hops.
Mouth:
Roasted caramel and ground coffee blend with sweet spices and floral berries. In the finish the hop and herbal notes develop in depth with the crunch of woody spices and swirling orange peel. Abundant persistence of malt, sweet caramel and cocoa.
